Das Lied- Song of Revelation

Poetry, Music and Painting, three art forms combined in this creative piece of Art. The Poem this piece is based on accompanies the painting. This was my personal poem, assigned to me in First Grade many decades ago. It was my job to recite it weekly in front of the class, just like everyone else did with their own poem. Only recently did the meaning of it become clear to me.

Schläft ein Lied in allen Dingen,

Die da träumen fort und fort,

Und die Welt hebt an zu singen,

Triffst Du nur das Zauberwort!
