Springtime, one of the most beautiful seasons, full of hope, longer days, increased sunshine, tender bloom and new leafs.
Last week I took my two-day track back to my northern home in Missouri. One of my first stops was Gainesville. We had lived there until 1988. I visited our old house and was in shock! The trees I had planted on our barren lot in 1980 had grown into towering, mature shade trees!
Continuing the trip, I enjoyed observing the changing vegetation, trees in fresh green dresses, blooming redbuds, dogwoods in pink and white, miles and miles of beautiful, magestic nature! Somehow, the GPS took me through Arkansas’ windingest, hilliest, tiniest roads. Roads so ridiculously unsuitable for long distance driving, I had to laugh. But the beauty of the area made it all worth it.
Mercifully the temperatures had reached the 70s when I arrived home, only to be followed by 30s the first night back. And today back near 80, we enjoyed our Easter Sunday outdoors all day long. Hope you enjoyed this day as much as we did! Looking forward to your next visit at our Art Events!
